What are the main fabrics of beach umbrellas?

There are mainly three kinds of fabrics for beach umbrellas, and the cost is from low to high: polyester, PG cloth, and nylon.

1, silk

  The characteristics of the silk fabric are: the color is brighter, and after rubbing the beach umbrella fabric on the hand, the crease is obvious and it is not easy to restore. When the fabric is rubbed, it will feel resistance, and there will be a rustling sound when rubbing. Coating a layer of silver glue on the polyester is what we usually call a silver plastic umbrella. The anti-ultraviolet function of the silver tape is better, but after a long time of use, the silver glue in the folded place is easy to detach. Coating a layer of silver powder on polyester is what we usually call pearl cloth umbrella. The color of pearl cloth is more bright and popular with ladies, but the effect of preventing ultraviolet rays from the sun is not ideal.

2. PG cloth

PG cloth is also called spray cloth, high-density impact cloth is a new type of cloth. PG has the following characteristics: the color is matte, dark. The fabric feels like cotton, has good light blocking properties, and the cost of PG cloth is relatively high, but the anti-ultraviolet function, the stability of quality, and the grade of color are ideal. It is a relatively good umbrella cloth. Generally, PG cloth is only used in high-grade in the umbrella.

3. Nylon

  Nylon cloth is also a kind of high-end umbrella fabric. This cloth is bright in color and feels like silk on the hand. However, this kind of cloth has a weakness, which is greatly affected by the air humidity, and the umbrella cloth shrinks more seriously, and sometimes even affects the normal opening and closing of the umbrella surface. Therefore, in our commonly used beach umbrella fabrics, there are not many.

Looking at the fabric of the beach umbrella, generally speaking, the beach umbrella surface is made of cotton, silk, nylon, viscose and other fabrics with poor anti-ultraviolet effect, while the polyester umbrella surface umbrella has better shading effect.
